Uncle Tom’s Cabin (1927 silent film)

Happy Juneteenth, everybody! In honor of the now official Juneteenth federal holiday, I thought this would be a good share for the occasion.

And let me know if you'd like to participate in a live-stream reading of the George Aiken adaptation of Harriet Beecher Stowe's classic, one of the most popular plays of the 19th century prior to the modern era of American theatre begun in the early 20th century by Eugene O'Neill (who I am a big fan of and who is featured prominently on this channel.)
