Now is the winter of our discontent... A Horse, a Horse! My Kingdom for a Horse!
This past Saturday, during my usual weekly live-stream, a friend I'd performed with before joined and requested to see me perform some Shakespeare. So I asked what he was interested in, and when he said Richard III I did my best with this impromptu performance of the classic "Winter of Our Discontent" monologue.
Anyway, it's kind of given me a possible idea for future livestreams to make them more interesting... taking requests live from everybody there, and just doing my best to perform it right there on the spot with no rehearsal... just a thought. Or maybe compile what I do along with other actors' submissions, to make it a YouTube Shakespeare Monologue Competition. Or maybe other great audition monologues, not necessarily Shakespearean.... Your thoughts? You can all let me know what you think in the comments, as well as make your own requests there! =)
