Kids and parents can use this video for 30 minute screen time. After 30 minutes a short alarm sound and a voice with the word ''stop'' to alert the end of the 30 minute screen time is over.
Screen time guidelines:
Younger than 2 years: 5 minutes a day together with a parent;
2 to 4 years: up to 20 minutes a day, 5 to 10 minutes at a time;
4 to 6 years: maximum 45 minutes per day, 10 to 15 minutes at a time;
6-8 years: maximum 1 hour per day, maximum 30 minutes at a time;
8 to 10 years: maximum 1.5 hours per day;
10 to 12 years: maximum 2 hours per day;
from 12 years: maximum 3 hours per day of screen time.
For ages 6 and older, encourage healthy habits and limit activities that include screens.
Turn off all screens during family meals and outings.
Learn about and use parental controls.
Avoid using screens as pacifiers, babysitters, or to stop tantrums.
Turn off screens and remove them from bedrooms 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
